Hilton Head Plantation is a completely private, residential club community consisting of primary residences and second homes with a wide range of recreational facilities. Located at the north end of Hilton Head SC, it is bordered by Port Royal Sound and Skull Creek which is part of the Intracoastal Waterway. HHP is the largest plantation on Hilton Head next to Sea Pines.
The planatation offers four golf courses including The Country Club of Hilton Head (semi-public), Oyster Reef (semi-public), Bear Creek (private), and Dolphin Head (private). The Clubhouse at the Country Club of HH includes tennis courts, pro shop and locker room, indoor event room, heated indoor pool and exercise facility.

Skull Creek is a 160-slip marina on the Intracoastal Waterway Boat slips are available for rent or purchase. Spring Island Recreation Center includes a large outdoor swing pool, sun decks, a racquet club and Spring Island Pavilion.
Dolphin Head Beach Park includes a mile long natural beach, playground and picnic area.
